Im honestly heart broken to make this review, but feel that families and friends should hear it. We've been visiting Ellis family farm for years, sometimes multiple times a season, and times We've taken field trips with our homeschooling co-op and other faith based schools. Never had we been treated the way we were this last Sunday. Sunday's they close early. We would have loved to have gone another day that we would have had longer to enjoy all that they have to offer, but sadly it wasnt working with everyone's work and school schedule so we decided to just take our kids and enjoy what little time we had, (we arrived at 4, they close at 6). We were having an amazing time until 6 o'clock rolled around and a gentleman whom worked there approached us informing us it was closing time and we needed to leave. We weren't paying attention to the time because we were having fun. There were 5 adults and 7 children total with mine and my sister's family combined. The man told my sister and my sister tried to yell for her husband and our dad but they were too far ahead to hear her, so that man rolled his eyes and got upset. We caught up to the other half of our party and told them it was time to leave and we all turned around and started heading for the exit. It did take us a moment to get to the exit because of our 7 children aging from 11 to 1. We had two toddlers and a 1 year old baby walking (moving slow). We didn't realize we needed to basically pick the kids up and run for the exit before the employees would treat you like dirt. So when we arrived at the exit where you would pay for pumpkins the same man who told us they were closing was being extremely rude and honestly very childish!!! He noticed there was a small pumkin in our basket that my niece wanted that we weren't going to buy because we didnt have time to pick and pay for pumpkins, so the pumpkin was going to be put back by her mother, who was trying to admire the Ellis' beautiful flowers with her 1 year old daughter. The man said are you going to pay for that pumpkin? I tried to get my sisters attention, (she was busy and distracted) and told me to put the pumpkin back and her 7 year old daughter was in tears, which the man was whitenessing. Then because we didnt buy the pumpkin he told us that we had to pay for the corn cobs that each of our children were holding in their hands. I was so confused and baffled by his statement. Mind you he really wasnt being kind about it. I said "your kidding right"?, in which he replied no each ear of corn would be a dollar. So we made the kids put them down. Our toddlers didnt understand what was happening and nore did our other older kids. My 3 year old son refused to put it down do I payed the dollar for his ear of corn. The rest of our kids noticed the hostility in the man's voice and were totally bothered by the way he was treating our family, and so were all of us adults. It was completely uncalled for and really heartbreaking to have been treated the way we were. The man was bothered by the fact that he thought we ignored him and kept on going, which we didn't, and had to stroke his ego infront of all of our kids foe said ego being threatened. All this to say we hope no-one has to experience what we did that day, and if this is a regular thing where you treat your paying customers with little innocent children this way ya'll should be ashamed of yourselves!!! We paid well over a hundred dollars just to enter and that's not including all the extra we paid for inside the farm. We were all baffled. And Ellis if you are reading this message I hope you share it with your employees... and for heaven's sake dont treat people that way. The other younger boy who worked there and was standing by the man being rude was laughing at this joke. Well it wasnt a joke.

Ellis Harvest Farms is a two-hour drive each way for our family, and with three teenage girls, I was a little concerned that we might spend four hours in the car only to have a lackluster day. I’m happy to say that Ellis Harvest Farms exceeded our expectations! Every single person in our family had an absolutely fantastic time, and the drive was well worth it. It’s not always easy to find an outing that everyone enjoys, especially with teenagers, but this one delivered! We would absolutely visit again and highly recommend Ellis Harvest Farms to anyone looking for a fun family experience.

My family and I have visited 3 years in a row before Halloween. The highlights are the maze, the corn crib, and the overall atmosphere. A perfect day-long adventure your family. They provide wagons for all your stuff and your children and anything you might buy while you're there. They have small concession areas for snacks and drinks that are reasonably priced. Bring your whole family and your friends and plan on being there for 4 hours at least. Especially if you get lost in the maze.

It's such a fun place to be in the fall! Great tasting drinks and food. More then a few things for the little ones to do as well

This place is awesome.

Ellis Harvest Home is always a fun place to go. My kids love to get a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, play in the corn boxes, and on the spider web. The corn maze is a great family activity. The haybale maze is fun for the little ones without the fear of getting lost. We haven't done it yet, but they just added paintball to the activities. There are several places to get individual or group pictures. They also grow beautiful flowers and have animals. Overall, it is a great place to go for family and group activities.

So much for the kids to do!! Prices were great also!

Super fun for all ages

Absolutely a destination! Things to do for all ages. Food, specialty coffee, activities for kids and couples, all in a lovely setting.

This such a special time for us to meet all up with all the grandchildren and have fun! From the corn maze, to paint ball shooting, to the search for the perfect pumpkins!! Ellis's make the whole day fun! Enjoy the Bean Bin and the food shack!

Lots of walking, small, slow food portions, limited seating and lack of staff except those standing around at their stations. Pretty place out there though!
